We have a specialist film and TV class where students get real world on the job so to speak training. We believe this training is second to none in the real world on set experience it gives our students. This takes the form of an ongoing eclectic internet soap called "Platform2c" to which students that we feel are ready and show promise and potential are invited to take part in. This class has no cost to students but only students who are in our classes can be invited to take part and students will be required to give up time during the week to take part as that is when most filming takes place.

All the actors used in Platform 2c are still learning and as such Platform 2c is an extremely advanced part of the real world film and TV  training we provide at NFD. We believe showing week by week the huge progress many of our actors make in Platform 2c is absolutely the best way to go. We hope people appreciate Platform 2c for the unique online soap it truly is and enjoy the journey of these actors working so hard to get there, in what is now an extremely competitive environment. As you see the actors improve we hope this will serve as inspiration to others wishing to come into acting no matter their age or background. Many of the actors in Platform 2c are now starting to get their first parts on TV so look out for them and remember where you saw them first!
